Pets (& All Animals) Have Thoughts & Feelings Too

In the session above, I healed Beanie's fear of flies - trauma caused by being confined in a crate (previous owner) and being bitten by flies when she would pee in the crate and couldn't escape. By end of the session, no longer afraid, Beanie was chasing flies in the gallery where we were, for the 1'st time - her human was very relieved because before that she would run into the street to get away from any flies that came into the gallery!
Understanding the Emotional Lives of Our Pets
Look again at the actual smiles on the faces of the cow, pig and goat in the picture above.
Of course animals have emotions. Why would we think otherwise? Let's take a moment to think about our pets...it’s clear from their actions—when we return home, our pets greet us with excited tail wags and joyful energy that we can easily sense. Conversely, when we scold them for something undesirable, we notice how their heads drop in embarrassment and their demeanor becomes subdued. These are just a couple of typical behaviors indicating that pets experience thoughts and emotions much like humans do. Dogs tend to be especially wonderful at exemplifying unconditional love. Even when we make mistakes or if we use a harsh tone, their feelings are likely to get hurt, but they are pretty quick to forgive. Their ability to love unconditionally often surpasses that of humans, making them some of our best teachers if we pay attention. Pets enter our lives to enrich them, frequently with a predetermined mission to help us with something we need or desire. There’s also a strong possibility that we have shared past lives together. (I will share more in the next newsletter)
Pets as Companions and Healers
Dogs and cats enter our lives with the intention of supporting us through challenges. Whether we are grieving the loss of a loved one, feeling lonely, or seeking a break from people in general for personal and spiritual growth, pets provide companionship and help us stay focused, offering us company that can be deeply comforting & supportive.
In addition to working with people, I have been healing pets for decades, using my intuitive abilities to diagnose symptoms that often elude veterinarians. I identify the cause, then heal the issue. The pet’s issue or symptoms clear up—restoring their well-being.
I work with pets similarly to how I work with some of my clients’ relatives; using their photos. My method avoids the stress of travel and unfamiliar environments, ensuring comfort and maximizing benefit.
Getting results is key to the healing work I do.
Dog Case Study:
One client’s dog suffered from severe gastrointestinal issues, including bloated stomach and vomiting. The vet was at a loss, suggesting multiple possible causes but unable to offer effective solutions. The owner, reluctant to pursue more invasive tests and additional expenses, reached out to me for help. She bought a couple of sessions with me to seek relief for her BoBo. When I tuned in, I discovered the root cause. The owner’s mother was secretly feeding her dog small hot dogs. Although he thoroughly enjoyed them, they were the source of his digestive troubles. After two healing sessions, the symptoms subsided, and the BoBo returned to normal. I encouraged the client to prevent her mother from feeding her pooch hot dogs, or any other human food for that matter. She agreed and he has been fine ever since.

Cat Case Study:
A client’s cat (above) named Puffer started experiencing rectal bleeding. The vet was unable to determine the cause, so he sought my help remotely. I was able to intuitively diagnose that she had developed a stomach ulcer, which was causing the bleeding. I went on to heal her ulcer in that session. The bleeding stopped the next day & Puffer has been fine ever since.

Donkeys Need Healing Too: Meet Alister and Willy
Recently, I worked with two donkeys, Alister and Willy who live in Texas. I reside in Southern California and distance is never a barrier to remote healing.
Donkey #1: Alister
Ramona contacted me about Alister, who had developed an eye condition and had already lost all the vision in his left eye. He was at risk of losing sight in his right eye as well, and the vet could not identify the cause. Despite the eye drops he had Ramona use, Alister’s left eye went blind, and she was desperate for help so she reached out. When I began working with Alister, the first thing I sensed was significant sadness caused by years of neglect from his previous owner. He was also very lonely and desired a companion, which I communicated to Ramona. In our first remote healing session, I focused on balancing him, raising his vital life force, and clearing the old sadness that was still affecting him.
In subsequent sessions, I addressed his physical condition which was the right eye since the left eye had already lost all vision. Alister had contracted uveitis, a condition common in horses and donkeys that often leads to blindness. I intuited the underlying cause was a bacterial infection caused by his drinking water. The reason the drops did not work was because the infection was not just specific to the eye, it was systemic. After two healing sessions targeting the bacteria running through his system and his eye, Alister’s vision improved. He stopped bumping into things because he could see!
Ramona’s vet was surprised by the results from my remote healing and confirmed the improvement. He told her he plans to recommend me for other donkeys or horses who develop this condition, and for pets in general.
Donkey #2: Willy
Ramona decided to get a companion donkey for Alister, when I shared that he was lonely and because he was losing his eyesight. She found Willy, who had recently been separated from his own close donkey friend. Upon arrival, Willy kicked Alister, raising concerns for Ramona so she had me schedule a session with Willy to find out what was going on and heal whatever he needed most to help him adjust.
Lying in Bed:The next day, I was just waking up and could feel a presence with me. It was Willy the donkey! He found me by astro-traveling to where I was (which is what I do when I am working with both human and animal clients) He found me because he was very upset and needed me to understand his feelings. It was then that he let me know,
"Donkeys have feelings too!"
He told me he was very upset because noone had considered how traumatic it would be for him to suddenly lose his donkey friend, his home, and his human in a short span of time.
I realized Willy was GRIVEING and assured him I would help. In our session, I focused on healing Willy’s grief, and it decreased significantly. I energetically imprinted him with being open to his new circumstances, and he became much calmer and receptive.
Over the next few days, Ramona was relieved to observe that Willy was adjusting well and bonding with Alister. Healing his grief accelerated his ability to adapt to his new home, companion, and human—remarkably, after just one session.
Conclusion: Consider Your Pets’ Feelings
I hope these examples help you understand more deeply that animals have thoughts, feelings and emotions very similar to us. If you have pets, please consider their feelings, whether you’re moving, needing to find them a new human, or introducing another pet into the household...whatever the situation.
In my April newsletter, I intend to address how we can support pets as they age and involve them in decisions about the process of their transition. I may also talk a bit about pets who we have know in previous lives.
You can sign up for a free consultation, or a session through the website.

"I have some wonderful news about my donkey Allister. The vet couldn't believe he could see again. I told him about you."

“I feel really peaceful as usual. It is unbelievable. All my life, I tended to feel depressed and want to just sleep. I also always ruminated. However, I haven’t experienced any of that since my healing sessions with you. There is a significant difference since we started. Your work has been really freeing. It’s always amazing how coming from the craziness of life into the sessions with you and how peaceful I feel.”

I am feeling a strong, powerful confidence I am not used to feeling.
I got out of the box of confinement.”
