Does life get you down sometimes? Maybe your mother-in-law won’t speak to you or your spouse is constantly nagging or maybe it has nothing to do with relationships at all. Whatever the cause, it’s time to get rid of the negativity and shift from inner tension to a place of relaxation. Here are a few things you can try to help you feel more relaxed and be in a better frame of mind.
Take a hot bath. It will help you relax and as you move forward with your period of R & R.
Write It Down
Allow yourself the space to feel your emotions and write. Write down the parts of your life that you want to feel better about. The list can be as long or as short as you like.
When you have a list of challenges, imagine how much lighter you would feel if you were able to become neutral about these issues.
Light a Candle
Light a candle. Watch the flame and continue to meditate. Feel a sense of gratitude as you think about the positive things in your life, however small they might be. Burn your list of the things you feel negative about.
Visualie them turning to smoke and rising into the atmosphere.
Continue to enjoy your candle and see the flame as the flame that exists inside of you. Sit quietly and visualize your life as you would like it to be. Breathe deeply. Enjoy the silence. Ask for additional guidance. Repeat positive affirmations to help you move forward.
After going through these steps to connect more deeply with your spirit, you will feel lighter. Invite more love into your life by giving more love to everyone you meet, even a smile can make a difference in someone's day.
